1940's ~ HUGE PINK VANITY CASE with RAISED CAMEO ... NICE!

This is a wonderful, older “LARGE ~ 1930 – 1940’s PINK VANITY CASE with RAISED CAMEO” - Be sure to look at all (6)photos (detail is much nicer than photos show) - Size: (front with closed lid/cover) 22”lg. x 12-1/2”dpth. x 3-1/2”ht. (with opened lid/cover) 14”ht. - Marks: None found - I believe this vintage vanity case to be made of a molded plastic - The lid / cover as well as the front and side of the base is very ornate with a beautiful raised oval cameo in the center of the lid / cover with a fan atop the cameo, flowers and leaves surrounding the cameo – This vanity case is hinged on the backside with two hinges that hold up the cover / lid very well and there is a square thumb lip under the cameo to pick up this lid - When opened, the inside area is enormous and would hold a considerable amount of items...whether it be hair combs, mirrors, compacts, perfumes, jewelry boxes, lipsticks, rouge, makeup, small purses, gloves, trinkets, collectibles, etc...Just a great display case! - I have never seen another one of these in the 22 years that I have been in the business or before, so this is probably hard to find - There are a few age wear dings (photos will show next to where they are with blue lines...one is under the right eye of cameo...eye is all intact, one on the inside oval frame of the cameo, one on the backside of the top cover and one on the right hinge top and bottom - as with most molded plastic items, there are some expected agewear scuffs along the bottomside (I consider Minor for this item) ~ The pink color I would say is a beautiful baby pink - This item weighs 3-pounds before packaging - THIS IS UNIQUE...A REAL KEEPER! - As usual, my sales are Final - Condition: (I would say Good with exception of already mentioned above...most everything can be seen in photos) - I consider Minor for this item) -*** If you are ever in the State of Maine, come see our Doll and Antiques Shop...See Shop Photo...Just a small portion of what we have for you to look at ***- Buyer pays S/H/I & Maine pays 5.5% State Sales Tax ~
