    Description

    Offered for sale is a Nor-Loc round plastic screw top compact in cobalt blue and black. There is a Victorian styled woman in a long gown carrying a parasol impressed into the blue lid, encircled with an offset textured circle, framing the scene.  The blue lid unscrews from the black base to reveal the original fitted puff and fitted clear celluloid loose powder screen in the base.  Take the powder screen out and you find the maker's mark "NOR-LOC" in raised lettering in the black base.  Opens and closes securely, straight and tightly. No warping nor cracking. Measures 2 inches across and is 1/2 inches thick. Made in the 1930-40s.  This NOR-LOC has one of the great color combinations.
